Dr. Loch opened the practice here specifically because Nocatee and the surrounding St. Johns County communities had no local interventional pain option — the alternative was driving to Jacksonville or Gainesville for a procedure that takes fifteen minutes.
Nocatee has an unusually active population, and that shows in what walks through the door: knees and shoulders from golf, tennis and pickleball; backs from the gym and from yard work; and a large number of residents who have retired here and have no intention of slowing down. That last group is the one most poorly served by a treatment model built around managing pain rather than resolving it.
